On the palm of my hand
in permanent marker*.
I will write a to-do list
for each and every day.
On it will command, a cuddle,
a kiss - underlined twice.
A back rub, to do the washing up,
to fetch chips in the rain.
I will tick these off daily
for as long as I am with you.
*one that smells like bakewell tarts
